Everyone enjoys fondue Bourguignonne from time to time (with friends).
Different types of meat are used for it: steak, chicken breast, small meatballs, ham steak, etc.
Sear the pieces of meat pricked on a long fork in the hot oil of a fondue set and let them cook.
Baguette, salad and fondue sauces are part of this.
But….. no ‘factory sauces’, which always have the same taste.
It is much tastier and more fun to make them yourself. Due to small changes in the composition, the taste is always a surprise.

Topping up the sauces.

- whip half a liter of cream (WITHOUT adding sugar) to whipping cream.
- take a jar of mayonaise or make the mayonaise yourself.
(making your own mayonaise is much tastier)
- add about 2 tablespoons of mayonaise and 1 tablespoon of whipped cream
  to add with each sauce.
- In the "factotum" and the "As if it will never be summer" sauce some more cream
  and a little less mayonaise.
- Less cream in the "What happened to me" and the "Silent Power" sauce
  and some more mayonaise.

“Where’s my comb now?” sauce

- a small shot glass of sherry
- a small shot glass of Cognac
- 2 heaping tablespoons of peanut butter
- mix the peanut butter with the sherry well, until a firm paste is formed.
- Add 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup and stir again.
- Add 30 capers.
- Add 2 to 3 drops of Tabasco.
- put the whole thing in a small bowl so that half of it still has 'space'
left over for topping with cream and mayonaise.

“Factotum” sauce

- chop 10 ginger balls in syrup very finely.
- place in a serving bowl.
- one tablespoon of spicy (e.g. Surinamese) curry and some syrup from the ginger jar.
- mix with the ginger.
- supplement with cream and mayonnaise.

“Like it’s never going to be summer” sauce

- grate about 100 grams (3.5 ounces?) of soft mature cheese.
- mash a hard-boiled egg very finely after cooling.
- chop parsley very finely to the amount of one tablespoon.
- add some salt and pepper (to taste)
- place in a serving bowl and top up with cream and mayonnaise.

“What Happened To Me” Sauce

- Finely chop 15 sour pearl onions.
- Finely chop 4 sweet and sour gherkins.
- mix with 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup.
- put in a serving bowl and top up with cream and mayonnaise

“the Silent Force” sauce

- mash one banana very fine.
- squeeze half or whole lemon.
- mix in a bowl and top up with cream and mayonnaise.
